What began as a humble food truck, driven by the dream of a Hispanic couple and a love for Mexican cuisine, has grown into one of Philadelphia's most beloved taquerias. Founded by Carlos (Mexico) and Carolina (Honduras), La Catrachita was born with a clear vision: to offer authentic, tasty, and filling tacos, with fast service and an unforgettable experience for every customer.

With hard work, passion, and community support, we went from selling food on the street to having a 24-hour storefront, several food trucks operating throughout the city, and a central kitchen that allows us to maintain the quality and speed that defines us.
